Andy Martin of Bend, Oregon won todays Flying Pig. Andy won the 22.6 mile race in 2 hours 30 minutes and 40 seconds. The course was a little bit longer this year because of the fire that broke out, causing the race to be re routed. Martin who won this marathon, his fourth win since November his last being the Big Sur MArathon in California only last week.
This year was Martins first attempt at The Flying Pig, his time has to be certified with officials who need to make sure the length and time were exact to make sure they qualify for the Boston Marathon.
