Original reports were saying that Williams was not driving the car, and that he was in the passenger seat, however, eyewitnesses said that they saw him in the drivers seat. Jayson Williams may now face charges, because he was the only person in the car.
Williams, who retired in 2000, has apparently been drinking, so the charges may involve Drink Driving Charges.
Williams was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he refused a breath test.
